Optus service cuts across four states restored within an hour
An Optus voice service outage affected parts of Victoria, Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania for about an hour on Friday.
Optus found the problem about 1:30pm AEST Friday and sent teams to fix it. Customers could not call out, but they could use other networks or Wi-Fi for emergencies.
The company fixed it the same day and apologised to customers for the disruption. Optus did not disclose what caused the outage or how many people were affected.
