Kelleher chases redemption after Roosters' 2025 GF loss
Jocelyn Kelleher wants redemption after the Roosters lost the 2025 grand final to Brisbane in the dying stages.
The Roosters led 18-12 with nine minutes left in last year's decider at Accor Stadium, then Mele Hufanga scored five minutes from fulltime to seal a 22-18 Brisbane win. Kelleher had stepped into halfback after Tarryn Aiken ruptured her ACL on the eve of finals.
Kelleher told reporters she felt she let the team down. "I pretty much just feel like I let the team, I let the club, I let everyone down with what happened on the field."
Now, with Aiken back in the halves, the two-time premiership player faces the Broncos again on Sunday at Accor Stadium. The undefeated Roosters beat Brisbane 34-20 in round seven this season.
