Former West Coast Eagles player faces sentencing for child exploitation
Ex-AFL player pleaded guilty to possessing child exploitation material and will be sentenced November 12.
Laurie Bellotti played 24 AFL games for West Coast in 1999 and 2000. Bellotti was arrested in July after a burglary in Perth's north.
Police allegedly found images depicting child nudity on his mobile phone. Bellotti has since pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child exploitation material and remains in custody at Hakea Prison.
He will be sentenced in the Western Australia District Court on November 12. He has yet to enter a plea to a second charge of possessing child exploitation material.
That charge will be heard in the Perth Magistrates Court on January 12 next year.
