Two riders from Redbank Plains killed in separate motorcycle crashes
Two motorcyclists from Redbank Plains died. The crashes happened separately on Friday, hours apart.
A 71-year-old woman died on Friday. Her Honda motorcycle hit a Mitsubishi Outlander on the Centenary Highway at Greenbank just after 1:30pm.
The car's four occupants were unharmed. Hours later, a 43-year-old man from the same suburb lost control of his Harley-Davidson.
This happened on Augusta Parkway in Brookwater near 11:50pm. He crashed and was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
Police are looking into both crashes. They are asking for witnesses.
They especially want anyone with dash-cam or security footage.
