Woman dies after vehicle strike on Monaro Highway south of Canberra
A woman in her 60s was struck by a vehicle on the Monaro Highway near Bredbo on September 25 and died.
Emergency services were called at about 6.30pm on Friday after reports a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle just south of Bredbo. Paramedics treated the woman but she could not be saved.
The driver, a 54-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. The woman has not yet been identified.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
