Queanbeyan Palerang arts trail marks 20 years with wineries and bikes
Queanbeyan-Palerang's 20-year-old arts trail adds wineries and motorcycle meet-ups across four towns this October.
The Queanbeyan Arts Trail marks two decades in October. Over 40 venues will open for three weekends.
The venues are in Braidwood, Captains Flat, Bungendore and Queanbeyan. They showcase ceramics, glass art, painting and performance.
Wineries and a motorcycle show-and-shine are new this year. These are at Captains Flat.
Braidwood opens with home studios and an artists' gallery. Bungendore features the Malbon collective's knitwear, floristry and photography.
The event draws tourists and locals. It boosts hotels and restaurants.
It also gives artists a chance to sell and earn.
