Serial offender denied bail after exposing himself to girls
Ryan Yates, 25, was denied bail after allegedly exposing himself to three 10-year-old schoolgirls at Maryland.
Ryan Yates was released from jail in July after serving time for filming women, creating child abuse material, and soliciting a minor. Less than three months later, he allegedly exposed himself to three 10-year-old girls at Maryland on October 16.
The girls had just stepped off their school bus when Yates approached them and exposed himself, prosecutors said. One girl was so frightened she froze.
The girls reported the incident to their fathers, who found a car matching the description and chased it. Yates crashed near Wallsend.
He admitted being in the area but said he was just stretching his legs. A judge found the case strong and said his behaviour was escalating and predatory.
He was charged with wilful and obscene exposure, loitering as a child sex offender, stalking, and negligent driving. He remains in custody.
