Rebecca Vallance to design new Qantas uniform
Australian designer Rebecca Vallance, whose brand reaches 60 per cent of customers overseas, will unveil a redesigned Qantas uniform in 2027.
Sydney fashion designer Rebecca Vallance has landed a major new role designing a new-look Qantas cabin crew uniform to be unveiled in 2027. Vallance launched her brand in 2011 from London.
Vallance has dressed major international clients including Sofia Vergara, Anne Hathaway and Billie Eilish. Sixty per cent of her sales come from overseas markets.
The US, UK and Middle East drive her growth. A turning point came when Net-a-Porter's retail director Lisa Aiken gave her honest feedback.
Aiken told her to redesign her collection completely. Vallance says that criticism was "an incredible gift" that pushed her work to the next level.
She has shown on schedule at New York Fashion Week. This year marks 10 years stocked at luxury retailer Net-a-Porter.
Her brand is known for elegant, tailored pieces with distinctive hemlines and bow details.
