Forensic evidence emerges in police officer's alleged double murder trial
Forensic investigators found dozens of blood stains under the kitchen floor in the alleged double-murder case. They also found a bullet there.
Police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is accused of killing Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in a Sydney terrace in February 2024. Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty and says he acted in self-defence.
During the second week of trial, forensic evidence became very important. Investigators found bloodstains throughout the Paddington home and bone fragments in a skip bin.
A bullet that allegedly killed Baird was found under the kitchen floor with blood on it. Court documents show Lamarre-Condon bought cleaning supplies from Bunnings within hours of the alleged killings.
The prosecution says he killed Baird execution-style in the kitchen.
