Sam Pang returns for third season after winning Gold Logie
Sam Pang won the Gold Logie and confirmed his third season of the show.
Sam Pang won the Gold Logie in August, the most prestigious award on Australian television, becoming the first to do so in his career. The honour came as a surprise to him at the televised Logies.
Pang reflected on what it meant to see someone of Chinese descent reach that level in the industry. Pang has confirmed a third season of Sam Pang Tonight, his variety show on Network 10, with only eight episodes as before.
Pang is not tied to one network: he appears on The Front Bar (Seven), Have You Been Paying Attention (Ten), and Ground Up (ABC). This gives him creative freedom other TV personalities do not have.
He says this variety suits him better than the old system of exclusive network contracts.
