Jack Hickman returns to Golden Square after three years away
Midfielder returns to 2023 premiers after winning three best-and-fairests in three seasons at Mount Pleasant.
Jack Hickman is heading back to Golden Square following three successful years in the Heathcote District league with Mount Pleasant. Jack Hickman left the Bulldogs after their 2023 premiership and won a hat-trick of best-and-fairests at Mount Pleasant, also playing in their 2025 premiership.
Hickman finished third in this year's Cheatley Medal. Hickman wants to play major league footy again and see where he sits in the Bendigo league.
Fellow midfielder Ryan Hartley is also returning to Golden Square after three years at North Bendigo. Both are joining a Bulldogs side that finished seventh this year and sixth in 2025, missing finals for two straight seasons.
