Haval H7 starts at $46,990 with hybrid-only powertrain
GWM's redesigned H7 SUV launches with a 1.5-litre hybrid engine from $46,990 or a plug-in hybrid reaching $53,990.
GWM has announced Australian pricing for the completely overhauled H7, a mid-size SUV based on the tougher Raptor platform rather than its previous Chinese-market foundation. The base H7 Lux pairs a 1.5-litre engine with dual electric motors for 182kW and 670Nm.
The plug-in hybrid bumps that to 320kW and adds up to 137km of pure electric driving range. All models come with all-wheel drive and eight drive modes.
The PHEV can travel up to 844km in combined driving. The H7 positions itself between Haval's family-focused H6 and the more hardcore Tank 300.
