Sam Wood's stepdaughter appears publicly as fitness guru appeals bail decision

Sam Wood's stepdaughter Eve Markoski-Wood has appeared publicly for the first time since his October arrest.

Eve Markoski-Wood, 21, was spotted leaving a Woolworths supermarket in Melbourne this week with her younger sister. Her stepfather, Sam Wood, a former Bachelor star, remains behind bars at Wolston Correctional Centre, a high-security prison outside Brisbane.

Sam Wood faces charges of choking, suffocation, strangulation, and assault. These relate to an alleged incident with his wife Snezana Wood in Noosa on 3 October.

Wood has said he will contest the charges. This week he lodged a Court of Appeal bid challenging the bail refusals.

At his last hearing, the court heard he allegedly consumed several drinks before an argument over holiday packing escalated. His legal team argues he has shown capacity for self-control.
