Myer expands Christmas Giftorium to Perth and Sydney
Myer is rolling out its Christmas Giftorium pop-up to Perth and Sydney stores after strong sales success in Melbourne last year.
Myer is throwing its Christmas range into overdrive. The department store has opened Giftorium pop-ups at flagship stores in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, a one-stop shop for holiday decorations, gifts and festive gear.
The haul includes 650,000 individual hanging decorations. Myer boss Olivia Wirth told The Nightly the retailer will stock everything from beachy blue to pink and sparkly themes.
Last year's Giftorium at the Melbourne City store took over the entire basement and traded strongly. Myer learned from that success and is now expanding into new cities.
This year's trends focus on copper, gold, glitter and some natural texture. Shoppers can also get personalised pyjamas, personalised chocolate, gift wrapping and meet Santa.
Wirth said Christmas planning starts 14 months ahead, tracking global trends and customer chatter online.
