Five-year-old hit by e-bike rider who fled Sydney park
A five-year-old suffered serious leg injuries when struck by an e-bike rider who left the scene at an Engadine park Tuesday.
The child was hit at Cooper Street Reserve in Engadine on Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm. The child was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The e-bike rider did not stop. Sutherland Shire Police are investigating.
They released descriptions of two teenage boys seen nearby who may have information. One wore a black hoodie with a pink NEOVISION logo and a helmet while riding a black e-bike.
The other wore a black hoodie with a white circular logo and a grey helmet. Police want anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or other information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
