Crime scene photos reveal detail in double murder trial
A court has seen crime scene photos from the shooting deaths of TV presenter Jesse Baird and flight attendant Luke Davies.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, 31, a former police officer, has pleaded not guilty to murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. He is accused of using his police service weapon at Baird's home.
Crime scene photos were shown to the jury on Tuesday. They were later released to media.
Police used luminol, a chemical that shows possible bloodstaining. They examined the bedroom, courtyard and bathroom.
A bloodstained tarpaulin was found beneath the bedroom floor. A misshapen bullet that had passed through blood was shown.
It had penetrated the wooden flooring. Investigators said a bullet hole in the bedroom door went unnoticed until July.
This was two months before the trial. It had been patched and covered with a hook.
