Private Wives stars in Stan's new streaming promo campaign
All-girl Illawarra punk band Private Wives features in Stan's Enter the Chat promo, now streaming nationally across Australia.
Private Wives is an all-girl punk band from Austinmer. The band landed a spot in Stan's new Enter the Chat promo after seeing the call-out on social media.
The three-minute video features band members Phoebe Price, Zoe Lewis and Lucy Spencer performing in bar and gig scenes filmed across Sydney. The band kept their signature loud style throughout the filming.
Inspired by the 1990s Riot Grrrl feminist punk movement, Private Wives released their debut album Three Of Swords earlier this year. Filming was intense and non-stop.
The band has since been flooded with messages and texts as the ad streams nationally. Most responses have been positive and supportive, though Phoebe said some haters emerged, which she sees as inevitable for a loud all-girl punk band.
