Man in critical condition after dogs drag him from bike in Brisbane park
A man was dragged from his bicycle by two dogs and suffered life-threatening arm injuries in Brisbane.
The man was riding along a bike track in Seventh Brigade Park, Chermside, about 6.15pm on Friday when two dogs dragged him from his bicycle. Paramedics found him with significant injuries to his arms and rushed him to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in critical condition.
Police tracked down one of the dogs, a pitbull, which was surrendered to Brisbane City Council. The second dog remains missing despite a police helicopter being used to search the area.
Residents are being warned to stay alert.
