Crank It Up brings 14 live bands and 280 vintage cars to Batemans Bay

Crank It Up Festival runs 18 to 22 November in Batemans Bay with 14 live bands, vintage cars, and free entry.

Crank It Up, a free festival celebrating 1950s and 60s rock 'n' roll, rockabilly and vintage culture, returns to Batemans Bay for its fifth year. 14 live bands will perform across the foreshore and local venues, headlined by Swiss group The B-Shakers making their first Australian tour.

The Sydney Swing Katz dance troupe will perform Charleston, swing and Lindy Hop routines. Beyond the music, expect a show-and-shine of more than 280 classic cars, vintage fashion markets, retro classes in rock 'n' roll dance for all levels, and activities for kids including face painting and jumping castles.

Saturday night features a Late Nite DJ Party at Oyster Cove Cocktail Bar on the waterfront promenade. Organisers Leisa and Chris Tague launched the festival in 2022 to draw visitors to Batemans Bay after the Black Summer bushfires.
