Victorian servo makes world foodvenience finals
APCO Mount Duneed near Geelong has made the final 12 in the 2026 Best Foodvenience Store in the World competition.
The service station opened in July 2025 and blends petrol pumps, a 24-hour cafe, full supermarket, barista coffee and fresh food made in-house daily. Retail partner Ryan Dawson serves dim sims and potato cakes alongside sushi, paninis and roast dinners.
The store also stocks locally sourced honey, biscuits, dips and preserves from small regional producers. Customers come for shopping and meals, not just fuel.
APCO Mount Duneed is one of 24 stores shortlisted from across the world, with fellow finalists from Ireland, the US, Luxembourg, Northern Ireland, South Africa and Argentina. The winner will be announced in Germany on November 12.
