Sarah Allan to explore trade from Adelaide despite 2027 contract
Adelaide's three-time premiership defender wants to explore interest from other clubs in the upcoming trade period.
Adelaide star Sarah Allan is open to leaving the Crows despite being contracted through 2027, with multiple clubs already enquiring about her availability. Allan is one of the best key defenders in the AFLW.
Allan was a co-captain at Adelaide in 2024 and 2025 before stepping down at the start of this season. Allan won three premierships with the club, in 2017, 2019 and 2022, and claimed three All-Australian blazers in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
She reached 100 games for Adelaide earlier this year. The trade period begins in December, and multiple teams are expected to show serious interest in bringing her across.
