Disney+ Glee reboot reunites Michele with original cast
Lea Michele is returning to the role of Rachel Berry in a Disney+ and Hulu reboot of the hit musical series Glee.
Lea Michele will reprise her role as Rachel Berry in a new Glee reboot for Disney+ and Hulu, having led the original Fox series from 2009 to 2015 as an ambitious club member. Two castmates, Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet, are also returning.
Murphy finished the reboot script with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and has spoken to about ten original cast members. Michele said she would follow Ryan wherever he goes.
After Glee ended, she acted on Broadway. She won praise for the Funny Girl revival, playing the role her character once wanted.
