Jack Doohan axed again, looks to Le Mans after Haas snub
Jack Doohan will not race for Haas in Brazil, ending his hopes of a seat with the team he joined as reserve.
Jack Doohan's Formula 1 career is crumbling after Haas passed him over again for the Mexico City and Brazil races. The Australian reserve driver gave up his spot in the European Le Mans Series to focus on Haas after losing his full-time seat at Alpine six races into 2025.
Haas chose Rafael Camara for Brazil, a driver signed for 2027. Doohan was overlooked for Japan's Ryo Hirakawa in Mexico City.
The pressure has been intense: he and his family received bodyguards during the 2025 season after fan threats. Now the son of MotoGP legend Mick Doohan will join the Asian Le Mans Series with AF Corse, stepping back from his F1 hopes.
