MyCentre leader's video on silence skips the alleged Flydubai hijack
Samir Mohtadi's four-minute video does not mention the UAE's allegations or the co-pilot.
Samir Mohtadi, who also goes by Abu Hamza, leads MyCentre in Melbourne. On Sunday night he posted a four-minute video on the centre's Facebook page.
In it, he quotes Islamic texts on the value of staying silent when people are attacked. He makes no reference to the alleged Flydubai hijack attempt or the co-pilot, Hammam al-Hammami.
The UAE attorney general says investigators' findings point to the co-pilot's drift towards extremism starting while he studied at RMIT in 2017. Al-Hammami allegedly said the centre was run by a man known as Abu Hamza.
The UAE did not say whether the co-pilot ever met Abu Hamza. No allegation says anyone at the centre helped radicalise him or knew his plans before the 30 September flight.
Australia's home affairs minister, Tony Burke, said the co-pilot was allegedly radicalised online.
