St Francis of the Fields sends Josh Rodda and Chimdi Ilozue to nationals
Josh Rodda and Chimdi Ilozue qualified for nationals after St Francis of the Fields won gold at the Victorian athletics championships.
St Francis of the Fields Primary School in Strathfieldsaye had a strong showing at the Victorian state athletics titles. Thirty-two students competed across 30 events.
The school won gold in the 12/13 boys 800m and the 9/10 girls 4x100m relay. Josh Rodda and Chimdi Ilozue earned spots at the national titles in late November.
The school's netball team reached the state grand final. They lost by just one goal but won the Spirit of Sport Award for sportsmanship and character.
