Vietnamese immigrant opens her own salon after eight years of multiple jobs
Lammy Le, who arrived from Vietnam eight years ago, is opening Sen Spa & Beauti Nails in Warrnambool's CBD on November 9.
Le arrived in Warrnambool eight years ago with two young children. The quiet regional city shocked her compared to bustling Ho Chi Minh.
Lammy Le worked multiple jobs across Port Fairy and Warrnambool. Lammy Le worked at a day spa and a couple of nail salons while raising her kids and learning Australian culture.
A friend's suggestion finally gave her the push to open something of her own. Sen Spa & Beauti Nails will offer nail services, facial skincare, body exfoliation and massages.
It's located at 114 Lava Street, the former home of a travel agency. Le said she felt nervous about the leap.
But she was grateful for Warrnambool's supportive community during her journey.
