Driver arrested after ramming rideshare at Greenwith
A 19-year-old was arrested and charged after allegedly ramming a rideshare vehicle multiple times near Adelaide; both occupants escaped with minor injuries.
The incident happened at a roundabout in Greenwith, north of Adelaide, around 2:15am. A Ford Territory allegedly rammed the rideshare car several times before the driver fled the scene.
Police found him near his home a short distance away. The 31-year-old rideshare driver and his 25-year-old passenger sustained only minor injuries.
The 19-year-old was arrested and tested positive for alcohol with a blood-alcohol reading of 0.116. He was charged with drink driving, driving disqualified, failing to comply with direction, and two counts of endangering life.
He was bailed to appear in court on November 27.
