Capitol Bar & Grill wins Canberra wine award for third year running
Capitol Bar & Grill claimed Australia's best ACT wine list for the third consecutive year, with two other Canberra venues also recognised.
Three Canberra venues won awards at Australia's Wine List of the Year Awards. Capitol Bar & Grill, an Italian restaurant on Marcus Clarke Street, won the award for best ACT and Canberra District wines for the third year running.
The Boat House, on Lake Burley Griffin's shores, won best wine list for ACT. The Boat House was inducted into the Hall of Fame last year for its thoughtful mix of established and emerging local producers.
Rizla, a riesling-focused wine bar in Braddon, was a finalist in two categories. Its carefully curated collection earned recognition.
