A two-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a backyard pool Thursday afternoon.
A two-year-old boy was found unconscious in a backyard pool at Palm Beach on Thursday afternoon. Paramedics responded to the home on Barrenjoey Rd at 1.45pm.
The child was transported to Northern Beaches Hospital in critical condition. Doctors said his survival was in grave doubt.
A medivac helicopter had been placed on standby but the boy was taken by road instead. Police declared the home a crime scene while they investigate what happened.
