Four-time champ Leniu signs multi-year deal with Parramatta
Spencer Leniu, who just won his fourth NRL premiership with Sydney Roosters, has signed a four-year contract with Parramatta.
Spencer Leniu has signed a four-year deal with Parramatta just days after winning his fourth NRL premiership with the Sydney Roosters. Leniu won three titles with Penrith from 2021 to 2023, then added a fourth ring with the Roosters this year after their 19-18 win over Newcastle.
The Roosters granted him a release from his final contract year. Spencer Leniu's Parramatta deal is reportedly worth more than the $850,000 per year he earned at the Roosters, where he often came off the bench.
Leniu is expected to play a more active role in blue and gold, leading the line for the Eels' forward pack. Leniu will reunite with good friend Jarome Luai and both will represent Toa Samoa at the Rugby League World Cup.
The move comes as several top Roosters leave the club after their premiership win.
