Jaguar has revealed the Type 01, a $300,000 electric grand tourer that marks the British brand's shift to an upmarket, electric-only lineup.
Jaguar's new model has arrived. The Type 01 is a large four-door electric car powered by three motors with 757 kilowatts of power and 1365 newton-metres of torque, reaching 100 kilometres per hour in 3.2 seconds.

Built in the UK, the Type 01 has a bold blocky design with frameless door windows and no rear windscreen. It arrives in Australia priced from $300,000 before on-road costs.
Inside are 13 speakers integrated into a soundbar along the windscreen base, with 25 more speakers concealed elsewhere in the cabin, a 24-inch OLED driver display, and a 7-inch screen for rear passengers.
