Shadab Khan's unbeaten 113 steals improbable win for Pakistan over England
Shadab Khan's unbeaten 113 and 89-run last-wicket partnership with Haris Rauf stole an improbable Pakistan win over England.
Pakistan beat England by one wicket in Lahore, chasing 242. Shadab Khan scored an unbeaten 113, the highest score by a number eight in ODI history.
Shadab shared an unbroken tenth-wicket partnership of 89 runs with Pakistan's number 11, Haris Rauf, a new record for a last-wicket pair to win an ODI. England had cut Pakistan to 154-9, but Shadab hit out with precision, striking five sixes and 13 fours in 96 balls.
When given out lbw on 97 with 21 runs still needed, Shadab called for a review. DRS found a tiny inside edge.
Rauf then smashed Henry Crocombe down the ground for the winning boundary with 17 balls left. This is England's second major collapse in the tri-series.
They are all but out of the tournament.

AustraliaThe result will be widely discussed in Australian cricket circles, as Australia follows ODI cricket closely and England's collapse suggests vulnerability in the lead-up to global tournaments.
