Bendigo wins Victoria's best-tasting water competition
Bendigo's water treatment facility won the Victorian title in the Best Tasting Tap Water competition.
Coliban Water's Bendigo treatment facility won the state prize in the annual IXOM Best Tasting Tap Water competition. The water is judged in three categories: smell, sight and taste.
Bendigo beat two other finalist plants from Colac and Hopetoun. If Bendigo's water does well at the national competition in Adelaide later this year, it could represent Australia.
It would compete at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition in West Virginia in February 2027. Victoria last won the national title in 2022.
