Second collapse in weeks at Ultimo building site crushes parked cars
Scaffolding fell on parked cars at Ultimo Saturday, weeks after a wall there seriously injured two men.
Scaffolding crashed onto parked cars on Wattle Street in Ultimo on Saturday evening. Strong winds tore a large section clean off the building.
CCTV footage shows the scaffolding narrowly missing drivers on the street. The site experienced a second major incident in weeks.
A wall and roof collapsed at the same location in August, seriously injuring two men. SafeWork NSW is investigating both incidents.
The site manager, Macroview Projects, was issued a prohibition notice.
