Three rescued after car hits power pole in Dennington
A car collided with a power pole in Warrnambool regional area, trapping occupants, but all three were rescued safely.
A car hit a power pole on The Esplanade in Dennington on Saturday afternoon. Fire Rescue Victoria, police, ambulance and emergency services attended the crash near the corner of Baynes Street at about 1:10pm.
All three occupants were safely removed from the vehicle. One male occupant suffered minor injuries and was taken to Warrnambool Base Hospital.
The crash also knocked out power to the area, with Powercor working to restore electricity. Fire Rescue Victoria said the single minor injury was a good outcome given the circumstances.
