Three teens charged after man stabbed in Langwarrin confrontation
A 41-year-old was stabbed when he confronted three teens attempting to break into a vehicle in Langwarrin.
The man confronted a group on Govan St in Langwarrin about 12.20am on Saturday as they tried to break into a car. A confrontation occurred and he was stabbed before the attackers fled.
The man was taken to hospital with critical injuries. Three boys, two aged 16 and one aged 17, were arrested.
All three have been charged with intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence. They will appear in children's court on Sunday.
