Man in critical condition after stabbing in North Albury
A 28-year-old man suffered a critical stab wound to his neck in North Albury early Sunday morning and remains hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to Calimo Street about 1am on Sunday, September 27, after reports of an injured man. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 28-year-old with a stab wound to his neck at the scene.
The 28-year-old was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police cordoned off two homes with crime tape nearly 12 hours after the incident.
Residents told local media they didn't know about the attack until emergency vehicles arrived. They said the street is usually quiet with little trouble.
