Kayem Foods recalled about 1.6 million pounds of ready-to-eat meats after a cooler malfunction in a US warehouse.
A major recall of ready-to-eat meat products has been triggered by temperature failure in a US warehouse. Kayem Foods voluntary recalled nearly 1.6 million pounds of items including hot dogs, bacon, brisket and ham.

The recall received its highest-level classification. There is a reasonable chance that eating affected items could cause serious illness or death.
