WNBL star Marianna Tolo returns four months after birth

Marianna Tolo has agreed to return to Bendigo Spirit for the 2026-27 WNBL season. Marianna Tolo is returning just four months after becoming a mother.
The 37-year-old three-time Olympian sat out most of last season while pregnant. Tolo has now got medical clearance to play.
Tolo is a five-time WNBL champion who has reached 250 games. Marianna Tolo's return strengthens Bendigo's roster alongside fellow veterans Kelsey Griffin and Kelly Wilson.
Her deal is subject to league approval. The new season starts October 17 with a match against Canberra Capitals.
