Man slashed in knife attack after moped road rage in Glenroy
A 58-year-old man was punched and slashed with a knife after a moped sideswiped his car.
A car and moped collided on Pascoe Vale Rd in Glenroy on Saturday evening about 7.15pm. The moped riders and their passengers, four people total, stopped and approached the car driver.
What began as a brief argument turned violent. One moped rider threatened the driver with a knife, then punched him in the head and struck him with the knife causing a significant injury to his hand.
The 58-year-old needed surgery for the knife wound. The four attackers fled south on Pascoe Vale Rd. Police are appealing for dashcam footage and witnesses.
