Noah Wyle crowned Sexiest Man Alive, 30 years after co-star Clooney

The ER star, 55, was named People magazine's 2026 Sexiest Man Alive after winning Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics' Choice awards.

Noah Wyle has had a banner year: Emmy in September, Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Awards for his role on a medical drama, and executive producer trophies too. People magazine just added another trophy to the pile by naming him Sexiest Man Alive for 2026.

Wyle said he thought the news was a prank and never expected the honour. Wyle last appeared on the magazine's sexy lists in 1996, in a "Sexy Men of ER" feature with George Clooney.

Clooney went on to win the title twice (1997 and 2006). Wyle joked that friends will rib him relentlessly, but his wife Sara thinks it's long overdue, she reckons it reflects well on her taste.
