Jetour updates G700 off-roader ahead of 2027 Australian launch
Jetour updated its G700 plug-in hybrid SUV with new styling and Huawei tech before an Australian launch in late 2027.
Jetour, a Chery Group brand yet to launch locally, updated its G700 large plug-in hybrid SUV only a year after it went on sale in China. The redesign adds a revised grille, new wheels and body-coloured bumpers.
The updated G700 also includes Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 system. Huawei's system uses radar, sensors and LiDAR for active safety.
The engine and powertrain remain unchanged. A turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine pairs with front and rear electric motors.
Combined power is 665 kilowatts and torque is 1,135 newton-metres. The G700 offers electric-only range up to 260 kilometres.
It has triple differential locks and full-time four-wheel drive. Jetour plans to bring the G700 to Australia in late 2027.
It will compete against the Denza B8 and GWM Tank 500 plug-in hybrid SUV in the growing premium segment.
