Ariarne Titmus releases tell-all memoir and returns to Launceston for book tour

Ariarne Titmus's memoir Relentless launches 3 November and includes a Launceston stop on 5 November at the Tramsheds.

Ariarne Titmus, the four-time Olympic gold medalist who retired from swimming at 25, is releasing her memoir Relentless on 3 November. The book, ghostwritten by Phil Lutton, traces her rise from growing up in Northern Tasmania to international stardom.

Titmus insisted on making Launceston her first tour stop, saying it's where she feels most connected and warmth from the community. She's keeping the memoir deeply personal, at one point the book states "sorry everyone, but a tell-all book is a tell-all book".

The tour also includes Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra. Titmus said she wanted the story to reach beyond swimming fans to inspire a much broader audience.
