Witness tells Beau Lamarre trial of alleged murder blueprint

A former friend testified that Lamarre-Condon posed a hypothetical: would she help hide a body if he killed someone.

During a murder trial in Sydney, Georgia Cook testified that Beau Lamarre-Condon, the accused former police officer, asked a hypothetical question at a Thai restaurant dinner in May 2023. Lamarre-Condon asked: "What would you do if I told you I killed someone, would you help me hide the body?"

Cook said he described how he would kill someone, steal their belongings, put them in a dumpster, and dump bodies where no one would find them. Georgia Cook said the conversation left her scared.

Lamarre-Condon is accused of fatally shooting Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in Paddington in February 2024, nine months later. He pleads not guilty and claims self-defence.

The prosecution says jealousy and obsession drove him to murder after Baird ended their casual relationship.
