Video of Lamarre-Condon and Baird's country holiday shown in trial

Prosecutors saw video Lamarre-Condon made of a holiday with Baird about a year before the alleged killings.

A video recorded by Beau Lamarre-Condon during a country holiday with Jesse Baird was shown in court. The clips, shot about a year before the alleged February 2024 murders, show the two men eating McDonald's and walking through countryside, and toasting a marshmallow by a fire.

Lamarre-Condon sent the video to police officer friend Alexandra Scobie in two versions to get her feedback. Lamarre-Condon's barrister tendered it as evidence on Thursday.

Ms Scobie told prosecutors that Lamarre-Condon had clipped separate videos together. The 31-year-old former police officer pleaded not guilty and is arguing self-defence.
