Canberra United began their new era this week after securing owners in July, bringing back league legend Michelle Heyman and new coach Antoni Jagarinec. The team survived a rollercoaster three years of uncertainty to finish third in last season's regular competition before losing in the playoffs.
Young talent including Sasha Grove, Lillian Skelly and Sienna Dale also signed, while defender Liz Anton and hometown player Hayley Taylor Young return.
