Powderfinger reunion tour tickets on sale Wednesday
Tickets for Powderfinger's first tour since 2009 go on sale Wednesday, with shows across six Australian cities from September 2027.
The Brisbane band will perform in large outdoor tents in Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, starting in their hometown. Long-time fan Joel Connolly plans to enter three different pre-sale drawings and will try the general sale on Monday if needed.
Brisbane fan Erica Swannell already won tickets through Triple M radio by calling 15 times. Fans online worry about space, as the exact crowd size for the outdoor venues is unclear.
Connolly told AAP that getting tickets is always hard, but he won't miss the band's return after 17 years away.
