2116-hectare Mallee farm portfolio sells for $3.3 million
The Blacket Land Aggregation in the mid-Mallee sold as four separate lots after listing at $1000 per acre.
A large parcel of cropping and grazing land near Wynarka in South Australia's mid-Mallee region has sold for $3.3 million. The Blacket Land Aggregation comprised 2116 hectares split into four properties: Levics, Wilsons, Park and Mallee Slopes.
Selling agents had marketed the sale as a rare opportunity to buy substantial farm land either to expand an existing enterprise or as an entry-level farm. Mallee Slopes included farm improvements: a shearing shed, sheep yards, and a three-bedroom home needing renovation.
Separately, the Kitto family's 196-hectare cropping block near Arthurton on the YP found a buyer after being held by the family for a century.
