Voss steps away from AFL coaching after 35 years
The 51-year-old won't be at any club in 2027 and says coaching has ended for him.
Michael Voss was sacked by Carlton in May after coaching 212 games across two clubs: the Lions (2009-2013) and the Blues. He's since worked in media for AFL.com.au.
Voss told AFL Trade Radio he won't join any club next year and has essentially ruled out returning to senior coaching in the future. After 35 years in what he calls the furnace, he wants to explore different roles.
While he may work in high performance or development roles, he sees coaching as finished for him.
