Real estate agent's assault trial moves to Sydney for faster hearing
54-year-old accused of assaulting eight women will be tried in Sydney rather than Newcastle, where courts are backlogged until 2028.
Anthony Di Nardo, accused of sexually assaulting eight female former employees, will be tried in Sydney's Downing Centre District Court rather than Newcastle. The 54-year-old pleaded not guilty to 14 charges: aggravated sexual assault, sexual touching, indecent assault and supplying cocaine.
The trial will take about six weeks. The trial will call evidence from the eight alleged victims, 23 other witnesses and five police officers.
